How do I troubleshoot a Frontlion Media Player?

This article details how to perform troubleshooting steps on a Frontlion media player:

  • If the Display shows the message, NO SIGNAL:
    1. Unplug the Frontlion Media Player from power and plug it back in while the Display is ON.
    2. After the Frontlion Media Player starts, you should see a stream on messages appear during the bootup period.
    3. If Frontlion Media Player does not start up, then unplug the Power Adapter connector where it plugs into the Frontlion Media Player to make sure that it is connected securely.
    4. If the error persists, then contact the Frontlion Support.

  • If the Display shows the message, PAGE NOT FOUND:
    1. Restart the Frontlion Media Player again by unplugging it from power and plug it back in while the Display is ON.
    2. If the error persists, then contact the Frontlion Support.

  • If the Display shows the message, NO CONNECTION:
    1. Unplug the Frontlion Media Player from power and plug it back in while the Display is ON.
    2. Make sure that the ethernet cable is secure in the Frontlion Media Player and in the data port. If the cable is not installed correctly, the Frontlion Media Player will not be able to connect online.
    3. If the error persists, then contact your IT Department to ensure that the data port is active and that there is internet connection available for the Frontlion Media Player.
    4. If the error persists, then contact the Frontlion Support.

  • If the Display does not show customers in line:
    1. If the error persists, and you are certain there are customers in line, and shown in the Queue View, then contact the Frontlion Support.
